1. Benu Sen:

Benu sen is one of the best Photographer in India who had proved his expertise in varied domains of Photography. His contribution both as Individual and as a promoter for development of Indian Photography perhaps exceeds that any of the Indian Photographer.
He was an engineer and meeting with one of his close friend inspired him to assemble his own camera.
Later in 1957, he co-established the Photographic Association of Dumdum(PAD) to practice, propagate and discuss the nuances of this art form.
He retired from the Indian Museum as Photo Officer in 1990 where he contributed a lot of field of Social and cultural Anthropology and allied Museum Photography.
2. Madhaviah Krishnan:

Madhaviah was an revolutionary Indian Wild Life Photographer, writer as well as Naturalist.
He was born in Tirunelveli, Tamilnadu. During his early days, he developed keen interest in the art and literature and later grew up into Botany graduate and a lawyer.
He started his career as a writer in many Tamil Magazines and later took up employement of Maharaja of Sandur, that included being of judge, publicity officer, school teacher and a political secretary to Maharaja.
In 1950’s he started his journey of photography and became one of the most famous photographer in India.
The special thing about Madhaviah was, he did not get keen on technological developments and wished to take only on Black and White pictures.
He also made innovations in his own photography equipment and created a camera of his own.
3. Raghu Rai :

Raghu Rai was a well known Photographer for his coverage for India. He started his career in 1965, he joined the staff of the Statesman, a New Delhi Publication. But soon he moved on to be a freelance Photographer.
He played a key role as Picture Editor/Visualizer/Photographer of “India Today” during his formative years.
His photos have appeared in many leading magazines and News papers like Time, Life, GEO, The New York Times, and other famous publications.
4. Raghubir Singh:
Raghubir Singh was born in Jaipur who is particularly known for his landscapes and documentary style photographs of the People of India.
In 1970’s he was the first person to introduce color in days of maginal color photography and is acknowledged with several world renowned international photographers as one of the finest photographer of this generation.
Beauty, Nature, Hinduism, and Spirituality are the key things that became inspiration of his work.
During his career he worked with National Geographic Magazine.
He received several awards including Padma Shri by the Government of India in 1983.
5. Subhankar Banerjee:

Subhankar Banerjee was born in Berhampore, India. Subhankar got his engineering degree from Kolkata and later two Master degrees from New Mexico State University in the United States.
He was an activist, painter, engineer, photographer and a writer.
After a long research in Arctic, he published his widely acclaimed book Arctic National Wildlife Refuge: Seasons of Life and Land, 2003.
His book has won several awards.
6. Vickram Bawa:

Vickram Bawa is a proved multifaceted photographer in various fields like Fashion, Automobile, and Landscape Photography.
He plunged into professional photography in 1996.
His first shoot was Rani Jeyraj, Miss India and since then there was no looking back. The credit of show casing and promoting 3D photography in India also goes to him.
He has been associated with various top fashion magazines like Femina, Verve, etc. He has also associated with many other companies like Dove, Coca Cola, Godrej, Marie Clarie, Skoda India, Sony Electronics, Taj Hotels, Catwalk, Kingfisher Airlines, Sahara Ambey Valley.
7. Tarun Khiwal:

Tarun Khiwal is the first and only Indian to be honored with the Hassleblad Masters Award. Also, the first Indian whose work was chosen for the Swiss Light Manufacturer Broncolor’s Annual Calendar in 2012.
He began his career in 1989. He gained apprenticeship with the renowned architectural and interior Photographer, Hardev Singh.
In 2004, he was awarded as “Fashion Photographer of the year award”.
He has created creative images with many Bollywood stars like Aishwarya Rai Bachan, Sushmitha Sen, Katrina Kaif and so on.
