Narendra Modi Launched Solar Powered e-boats in Varanasi
Narendra Modi Launched Solar Powered e-boats in varanasi during his visit on sunday. It is a major scheme of central government for creating environment friendliness in the Ganga River. He launched e-boats at the Assi Ghat in varanasi. He said that, it is an important scheme to reduce the polution and keep the ganga river clean by distributing e-boats.

He also said that, varanasi is one of the famous Spiritual Spot in India and as well as tourists used to take ride on varanasi's boat, so this will be a great opportunity to boost our indian tourism. Without spending diesel, a boatman can save up to Rs. 500 by using this solar powered e-boats. Modi also advised boatmen, whatever money you get from the tourists, you have to use that for well being of your children, for their food, for their health and for their education and don't waste what you get, it may be even very least or high amount.
Narendra Modi also request the people of varanasi to keep the city and ghats clean. Schemes of the government is only to strengthen the people and it is not to increase the vote bank. Then he flagged off a fleet of 11 e-boats and he rode an eboat by interacting with a boatmen at Assi Ghat.
This e-boats not only reduce the pollution, it also bring down the operational cost and increase the income of boatmen.
