Xiaomi is Planning to Launch a Manufacturing Unit in India
Xiaomi is planning to launch a manufacturing unit in India with Foxconn Technology.
During the launch of Mi5 smartphone in New Delhi, Hugo Barra, Vice President of Xiaomi Corporation said that, Foxconn Technology Group assembled Xiaomi's first smartphone in India last year from a new plant in the south. This helps the chinese by shortening time to deliver the product and prop up margins he said.

We all well known that, Xiaomi is a product of china and it did very well in India. Currently Xiaomi is made talk with different state government in India to launch their manufacturing unit. The assembly unit of Xiaomi is already working in Andhra Pradesh by collabration of Foxconn from Taiwan. Xiaomi decided to make partnership with the maker of iphone Foxconn.
Xiaomi got their success through online sales in India, they now realized to sell their products through offline sales to the tier 2 and tier 3 cities in India. This is one of the reason for selling their Redmi Note 3 through offline as well as through online. The Global Vice President of Xiaomi, Mr.Hugo Barra said that, we have sold more million units of redmi in India. Discussions are going on with different government in India.
Nowadays, chinese smartphone makers are very well in their online presence to sell their products while compare to other countries. The demand for Redmi Note is increasing day by day and we are out of stock now added Jain, an offline seller from India.
Xiaomi recently launched a foldable electric bicycle in China which costs around ¥ 2,999.
